Job summary

First Resonance in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our product team and help bring the ION Factory OS to life for hardware builders worldwide.

The role centers on building AI-assisted end-to-end features with Python on the backend and Next.js/TypeScript on the frontend, leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of production-grade software experience.
• Proactively use AI coding tools to boost output and code quality.
• Advanced Python, ORM (SQLAlchemy) and async processing.
• Frontend mastery: TypeScript, React, Next.js proficiency.
• Cloud infra: AWS experience and multi-tenant SaaS deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own full-stack features using AI-augmented workflows (Python/TypeScript).
• Design GraphQL APIs and Postgres data models.
• Build scalable services on AWS for multi-tenant SaaS.
• Leverage AI tools to automate boilerplate and refactor legacy code.
• Create design specifications and UML/system diagrams.
• Improve reliability with tests (Pytest, Jest).
