Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer (SDET) to modernize and expand automation across critical retail pharmacy apps. You will design scalable automated tests, build robust data strategies, and drive broader automation coverage for UI and integrated systems.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, independent, and ready to leverage AI-enabled tools to boost testing efficiency and quality, partnering with engineering teams to deliver high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA Automation or SDET.
• Expert with Playwright, Selenium, and Cucumber (BDD).
• Java and/or Python development experience.
• Experience building reusable automation frameworks.
• Experience automating UI, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Experience using AI-powered testing tools to boost efficiency.
• Experience with Angular-based applications.
• Experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test scripts and frameworks.
• Increase automation coverage to reduce manual testing and speed releases.
• Build and manage test data for complex scenarios.
• Analyze functionality to identify automation opportunities.
• Partner with development, product, and QA teams to understand needs.
