Job summary

Marshall University is seeking an Institutional Research Data & AI Solutions Sr Analyst to advance analytics and AI-enabled decision support across the university. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical field.
Experience designing AI-enabled data solutions and reports.
Strong SQL and Python skills for data analysis.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, interpret, and communicate institutional data to support planning and decision‑making.
Analyze enrollment, retention, graduation, and student success metrics.
Prepare reports, visualizations, and summaries for stakeholders.
Respond to ad hoc data requests from university leadership and units.
Develop AI-enabled tools, agents, and workflows to support operations.
Collaborate with IT and units to ensure governance and security of AI solutions.
Query and transform data using SQL; use Python for automation and modeling.
Support IPEDS and other regulatory reporting with quality assurance.
