Job summary

Delaware Nation Industries seeks a Senior Software Engineer for a fully-remote Artificial Intelligent Support Services program. You will lead design, development, integration, deployment and maintenance of secure, scalable software across the full stack.

The role requires deep experience across front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, cloud services, and DevOps practices, plus mentorship and engineering leadership to ensure high-quality solutions and secure delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and delivering production software across multiple stacks.
• Strong full-stack development across front-end, back-end, API, database, and integrations.
• Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern front-end framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Proficiency with back-end languages such as Node.js, Java, Python, .NET, or equivalents.
• Knowledge of relational database design, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with software architecture, distributed systems, and enterprise integration.
• Expertise with Git-based code management, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containers, IaC, and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of secure, scalable software.
• Analyze business processes, user needs, system flows, data usage, and requirements.
• Develop full-stack applications spanning front-end, back-end, APIs, databases, and deployment infrastructure.
• Apply architecture principles and select appropriate frameworks and technologies.
• Build UIs using React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Design and develop back-end services using Node.js, Java, Python, or similar.
• Develop and optimize relational databases and queries.
• Integrate third-party platforms, cloud services, AI, and enterprise systems.
• Establish coding standards, CI/CD, and configuration-management processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Use infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and operational dashboards.
• Lead troubleshooting and production support.
• Coordinate system installations, upgrades, and releases.
• Ensure security, accessibility, reliability, and maintainability.
• Produce architecture diagrams, specs, and deployment/test plans.
• Participate in Agile planning and sprints.
• Provide technical estimates and communicate delivery status.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product owners and security teams to deliver value.
