Persistent is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in San Jose, CA. You will partner with customers to design, build, and deploy scalable cloud, AI, and enterprise software solutions that solve complex business challenges and accelerate digital transformation.

This role spans full-stack engineering, cloud platforms, DevSecOps, AI/ML, and data engineering. You will translate emerging technologies into measurable business outcomes for clients, shaping enterprise architecture, modernization

Qualifications

10+ years of engineering experience in cloud, AI, and enterprise software.
Expertise across full-stack design and scalable architectures.
Strong knowledge of multi-cloud and secure SDLC practices.
Proven ability to translate tech into business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design and develop full-stack applications with APIs and microservices.
Build scalable enterprise platforms using multi-cloud and Kubernetes.
Implement and improve CI/CD, GitOps, and MLOps practices.
Build and operationalize AI solutions including LLMS and vector databases.
Shape enterprise architecture and modernization initiatives.
Enable AI, analytics, and BI through data platforms and pipelines.
