Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN Digital Product Design Team, seeks a Senior Design Technologist to advance the Vossi Design System across design, engineering, and AI workflows.

Translate design intent into scalable UI, drive AI-powered design tooling, and ensure accessible, robust system artifacts for AI models and tooling. You will collaborate across teams to prototype and deploy token-driven components, document libraries, and scalable design system solutions that speed design exploration while

Qualifications

• 6+ years in a relevant role such as design technologist, UX/UI engineer, or product designer.
• Enterprise, platforms, and/or internal tools experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI into the design workflow to test ideas more efficiently and communicate solutions with greater speed and clarity.
• Expert proficiency with Figma 124.4+ including variable maintenance, components, styles, and shared libraries.
• Experience creating and maintaining component libraries.
• Strong front-end development skills in a major framework using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of design systems, component architecture, and design tokens.

Responsibilities

• Translate design intent into scalable, system-driven UI.
• Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI into design system workflows.
• Help teams understand feasibility, constraints, and ethical considerations of AI-powered features.
• Advocate for high-quality UX in AI-assisted or AI-generated interfaces.
• Generate or maintain design tokens programmatically.
• Automate component creation, documentation, or testing.
• Assist with layout generation, content population, or variant exploration.
• Ensure design system artifacts are consumable by AI models, MCPs, or other AI-powered tools.
