Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Application Designer and Developer to help deliver innovative UI solutions across mobile, web and tablet platforms. You will translate business requirements into technical design, build scalable APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI, and collaborate with clients in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Typically, no less than 2-4 years relevant experience.
3-5+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
Integrate authentication and authorization mechanisms using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
Experience with Data Visualization tools like: D3, Highcharts, Ploty.js, Ember Charts.
Experience using Commercial Dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) / unit testing.
Experience working on complex problems and in a complex codebase.
Knowledge of frontend “best practices” around page performance.

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze client requirements to ensure the final product meets needs.
Design and develop UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
Write clean, maintainable code and create specifications aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with clients; travel may be required to engage with stakeholders.
