Job summary

Slack seeks a Senior Staff Engineer to define the long-term technical roadmap for Agentic SDLC and to guide architecture across the PDE org. You will lead cross-functional discussions and own critical system designs, shaping how AI accelerates software development at scale.

You will build hands-on prototypes, drive strategic clarity with engineering, product, and design, and champion a culture of experimentation and high-impact delivery across the company.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years of software engineering experience at staff level or higher.
• Expertise in AI development tools and frameworks (Claude Code, Cursor, LangChain, LangGraph) at scale.
• Advanced systems design across multiple codebases and projects.
• Experience designing AWS cloud infrastructure for availability, security and scale.
• Strong metrics tracking for developer productivity and systemic improvement.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication.
• Related technical degree required.
