Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own CVIS/NVIS AI cluster validation and end-to-end testing. You will drive performance profiling, bottleneck analysis, and acceptance criteria for releases across Cisco hardware and software integrations.

You will develop and execute validation plans, automate tests, and ensure readiness for product handoff, collaborating with cross-functional teams worldwide.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and several years of related work experience.
• Experience building end-to-end validation for GPU or distributed AI systems.
• Proficiency in test strategy, automation, Python, Linux, and performance analysis.
• Ability to translate system requirements into measurable tests and release gates.
• Strong written and verbal communication across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans, validation matrices, automation, and exit criteria for AI cluster solutions.
• Execute CVIS/NVIS, AI Cluster Validation, GPU burn tests, NCCL workloads, and interoperability tests.
• Model workloads, profile end-to-end performance, identify bottlenecks, and report benchmarks.
• Validate Cisco network-switch integrations across multi-plane, ToR, compute, and storage.
