Job summary

Programmers.io is seeking a senior, full-stack AI Architect in Dallas to own end-to-end architecture for enterprise AI systems, spanning data, models, retrieval/orchestration, and serving. You will build reusable frameworks for AI-driven software development and stay hands-on through delivery, while partnering with client leadership on technical direction.

The role requires deep expertise in traditional AI/ML and GenAI/agentic systems, with strong Python, cloud, and MLOps capabilities.

Qualifications

12+ years in software/data engineering or solution architecture.
5+ years AI/ML and 2+ hands-on with production GenAI/LLM systems.
Experience delivering enterprise AI systems.
Strong Python expertise; API and microservices design.
Cloud platforms experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture for enterprise AI systems, spanning data, model, retrieval/orchestration, serving, and integration.
Architect across the full ML spectrum, including GenAI/agentic systems and LLMs.
Design and build AI-driven SDLC frameworks and guardrails for enterprise delivery.
Define MLOps/LLMOps practice: CI/CD for models, registries, drift monitoring.
Embed responsible-AI, security, data governance, and model risk in architectures.
Mentor delivery teams and present architecture to executives.
