Xebia is seeking a senior solution/AI architect to define the target architecture for an enterprise agentic AI foundation and to evaluate options across orchestration, APIs, data grounding and LLMOps. The role demands hands-on experience with LLM-based systems, strong Python skills, and the ability to translate analysis into decision-ready recommendations.

Work from the European Union region with a valid work permit.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience in software, data or AI engineering, including leadership roles.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering LLM-based and agentic solutions beyond prototypes.
• Strong Python skills and practical experience with agent orchestration and API integration.
• Experience in regulated environments with security, privacy, and AI risk management.
• Ability to evaluate commercial vs open-source options including TCO and lock-in.

Responsabilités

• Define target architecture for enterprise AI foundation, separating shared vs data-specific capabilities.
• Assess existing AI initiatives for maturity, value, reuse, scalability, cost and control impact.
• Benchmark against mature agentic patterns and market practice.
• Evaluate architecture across agent orchestration, APIs, MCP, data access, grounding and LLMOps.
• Incorporate non-functional requirements like security, privacy, resilience, and explainability from the start.
• Develop buy-vs-build recommendations including total cost and vendor lock-in.
