Job summary

Citibank, N.A. in Tampa, FL seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst to design AI-powered sanctions screening workflows.

You will build LLM-based solutions, develop ETL pipelines, and implement model evaluation and governance within enterprise systems. Responsibilities include end-to-end AI model development, performance tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, using Python, SQL, Oracle, REST APIs and Linux/Unix in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in a quantitative field and 3 years of AI/ML experience in banking.
• Alternative: bachelor’s degree with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in ML/AI.
• Experience with NLP techniques, LLMs, and production AI systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AI models for transaction classification and sanctions screening.
• Design and implement AI solutions using LLMs and agent-based architectures.
• Build automatic model training/evaluation pipelines and ETL processing.
• Create performance tracking, dashboards, and governance materials.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply Agile methodologies.
