Job summary

Pearson is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the AgentOps Engineering team, focusing on building production-grade AI agents and orchestration platforms. You will design and implement write-path features, routing, and safe multi-agent workflows, collaborating across Pearson to scale agent capabilities.

You will work hands-on with Python backend systems, cloud platforms (AWS), containers, and CI/CD practices to deliver robust solutions at scale for enterprise learning applications.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and backend/platform engineering.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks and multi-agent systems.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and containerization.

Responsibilities

• Build write-path features for agents and governance controls.
• Design multi-agent orchestration patterns and durable workflows.
• Engineer routing and stateful orchestration for scalable agent systems.
• Develop reusable platform components and tooling for reliability and maintainability.
• Collaborate with the AgentOps Engineering team to ship high‑quality code.
