Job summary

Teradata Corporation (SE) seeks a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to design and deploy AI-native agentic workflows across the Teradata AI Platform. You will build autonomous agents that reason, analyze, and act across telemetry, applications, and cloud infrastructure.

You will apply foundational AI skills, including prompt engineering and agent orchestration, to improve engineering productivity, observability, and MTTR. A strong API for CI/CD and DevOps collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with production AI/ML systems.
• Proven experience building AI agents, LLM-driven systems, or autonomous workflows.
• Strong programming in Python (required) and Java or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems, telemetry data, and observability architectures.
• Foundational AI skills: prompt engineering, model evaluation, agent orchestration, and reasoning frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-native agentic workflows across Teradata's AI Platform.
• Build and deploy intelligent agents that reason, analyze, and act across telemetry, apps, and workflows.
• Architect AI agents for observability, automated root cause analysis, anomaly detection, and productivity optimization.
• Design workflows integrating across telemetry pipelines, app stacks, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop AI-driven tooling to accelerate development velocity and reduce MTTR.
• Apply LLMs and advanced AI patterns to automate complex debugging and system diagnostics.
• Drive AI-native development across apps, tooling, and platform engineering.
• Partner with engineering teams to embed intelligent automation into CI/CD, DevOps, and support workflows.
