Job summary

Sentry is seeking an agriculture equipment claims expert to oversee complex damage appraisals for high-exposure equipment from our Stevens Point, Wisconsin office. This hybrid role combines office collaboration with selective work from home days, and it is not eligible for remote work.

Responsibilities include supervising appraisals, auditing costs, and coordinating with independent adjusters. You’ll negotiate salvage, ensure licensing, and support our loss-control efforts with accuracy and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
• Subject matter expert on one or more specialized vehicle classes or types.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to break down complex issues and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise complex material damage appraisals for agricultural equipment.
• Evaluate losses and prepare/damage appraisal with repair estimates.
• Conduct equipment damage re-inspections for accuracy.
• Review and control estimates, expenses, and services of appraisers and direct repair facilities.
• Negotiate salvage with equipment dismantlers.
• Obtain and maintain state licenses as required.
