Job summary

Erias Ventures in Maryland seeks an Agile Developer/Automated Test Developer to modernize a legacy system using a microservices-based architecture and cutting-edge technologies. The Developer will write Java Spring Boot microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies.

Python is used to optimize AWS services (Lambdas, Step Functions, EC2, S3). Build REST services with Spring to filter data objects, and implement CI/CD with Maven, GitLab and GitOps in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 9+ years of professional experience; or 7 years with a related Masters degree.
• Experience with Agile development and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Write Java Spring Boot microservice applications utilizing AWS native technologies.
• Utilize Python to optimize AWS services such as Lambda, Step Functions, EC2 and S3.
• Build REST services with Spring to filter and select complex data objects.
• Implement CI/CD principles utilizing Maven, GitLab and GitOps.
• Engage in Agile development and delivery of software.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
