Position Purpose

Design, build, secure, and operate governed agentic AI capabilities that reduce repetitive security engineering work and create reusable automation patterns for Security Defense Technologies. The role combines software engineering, AI-agent development, application security, platform integration, and production operational discipline.

Key Details

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Sponsorship and future sponsorship are not available for this opportunity, including employment-based visa types H-1B, L-1, O-1, H-1B1, F-1, J -1, OPT, or CPT. Develop agentic workflows, AI-assisted applications, tool integrations, retrieval patterns, and deterministic automation for security use cases. Define agent boundaries, identity, permissions, approved tools, human approval points, auditability, rollback, and emergency-stop behavior. Build reusable services and components using Python, APIs, Git-based CI/CD, containers, and enterprise automation platforms. Apply secure SDLC practices, including threat modeling, code and dependency scanning, testing, peer review, and production-readiness validation. Implement telemetry for agent decisions, tool calls, failures, quality, security events, and operational health. Partner with security engineering, architecture, governance, platform, and operations teams to move validated prototypes into supported capabilities. Document architecture, controls, runbooks, test evidence, ownership, and support models. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.

Education/Experience

A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.

Technical Skills

Senior-level experience building production software, security automation, platform engineering, or AI-enabled systems. Direct experience with agentic AI is strongly preferred, but demonstrated depth in software engineering plus applied AI/LLM development may substitute. Experience with AWS, Bedrocks, and Databrisks preferred.

Pay Range

$87,000.00 - $161,300.00 per year

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
