Job summary

SPECTRAFORCE is seeking a hands-on Senior Agentic AI Engineer to design, build, and operate production-grade Agentic AI, Decision Intelligence, and RAG solutions on Microsoft Azure for our Digital Supply Chain Systems organization in Glendale, AZ.

You will architect scalable AI apps using Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, and Azure AI Search, implement MCP integrations, NL2SQL capabilities, and governance with responsible AI controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• 3+ years building Generative AI, ML, or LLM-based apps, incl. Agentic AI.
• Proficient in Python; working knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, embeddings, and vector/hybrid search.
• Experience with agentic AI frameworks (Microsoft Agent Framework, Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, AutoGen).
• Experience with NL2SQL or conversational analytics; schema/metadata modeling.
• Strong knowledge of LLMOps, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, observability.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade single-agent and multi-agent systems in Azure AI Foundry.
• Architect scalable Generative AI solutions using Azure AI services.
• Develop RAG architectures with embeddings, vector search, and grounding.
• Create secure integrations via MCP, REST APIs, and databases.
• Implement NL2SQL capabilities with grounded data sources.
• Define semantic-layer strategies for enterprise data models and terminology.
• Develop decision intelligence capabilities combining data, analytics, and AI reasoning.
• Establish governance, security, and compliance standards for AI solutions.
• Implement observability and cost-optimized deployment for AI apps.
• Mentor engineers on Agentic AI and enterprise AI best practices.
