Qualifications

• Five years of work experience in the aerospace industry is needed.
• BS in Electrical or Software Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience with aerospace standards RTCA/DO-178 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and verify software for aerospace controller applications.
• Prepare Validation and Verification (V&V) planning documentation.
• Review code to assure compliance with Design Assurance Level (DAL).

Skills

C Programming for embedded microcontroller applications

Experience in Systems Integration

Familiarity with ARINC-429, MIL-STD-1553B, RS-232/422, SPI, I2C protocols

Ability to use standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters)

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, Visio)

Education

BS in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering

Minimum of 5 years work experience in the aerospace industry
