Job summary

TRIGO ADR Americas is seeking an Aerospace- Senior Process Quality Engineer to drive supplier quality improvements, audits, and containment across production, New Programs, and legacy items. You will lead cross-functional teams in quality processes, manage supplier base development, and coordinate with Operations and Procurement to achieve on-time, on-quality delivery.

The role requires 8+ years in aerospace QA, AS9102/FAI experience, and strong GD&T knowledge.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on Aerospace Quality Engineering experience.
• 5-8 years FAI experience with AS9102 standards.
• Strong understanding of Engineering Processes, GD&T, and drawings.
• 5-8 years ISO9001/AS9100 in Production, Quality, and logistics.
• Knowledge of FAA, EAR, ITAR regulations.
• Experience leading customer audits.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams and collaborate cross-functionally.
• Advanced stats with Minitab/JMP; data-driven decisions.
• Solid APQP, PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC knowledge.
• Understand satellite/LRU level functionality.
• Assess manufacturing readiness of products and processes.
• Analyze product performance to drive improvements.
• Analytical thinking, strategic problem solving, technical expertise.
• Demonstrated leadership and continuous improvement mindset.
• Adaptability in dynamic environments and strong customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Audit suppliers and assess quality/production processes per standards.
• Lead or support MRB activities for disposition and corrective actions.
• Visit suppliers for root cause analysis and verification of actions.
• Promote Lean, Six Sigma, PFMEA, and PFMEA techniques.
• Escalate unresolved supplier quality issues across projects.
• Evaluate existing processes for improvement opportunities.
• Provide technical guidance to resolve quality issues.
• Develop and report supplier performance metrics weekly/monthly.
• Carry out special projects as required.
• Build strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.
• Communicate effectively to ensure timely response to anomalies.
