Job summary

VERUS AEROSPACE FINANCE INC in Wichita, KS is seeking a Quality Inspector III to monitor and measure quality on close tolerance aerospace machined parts and components. You will perform in-process, first article, and final dimensional inspection to ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities include inspecting parts to verify dimensions, surface finish, hardness, serialization, and lot tracking; reviewing FAI documentation; and recording results in the appropriate

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior machine shop inspection experience.
• Aerospace experience preferred.
• Knowledge of interpreting aerospace/customer specifications.
• Demonstrated proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T tolerancing.
• Demonstrated accuracy in setup and use of measuring devices.
• Ability to write clear, legible records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect quality on aerospace machined parts and components.
• Perform in-process, first article, and final inspections per drawings and specifications.
• Verify dimensions, surface finish, hardness, serialization, and lot tracking.
• Review FAI documentation and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
• Record inspection results and maintain historical files and SPC data.
• Operate CMM and other precision measuring equipment; maintain documentation and communicate results.
