Job summary

Rockmart Fuel Containment is seeking a Quality Inspector 3 to join the QA Inspection team at our Rockmart facility. You will inspect aerospace components, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO standards while collaborating with production to resolve issues.

The role emphasizes root cause analysis, corrective actions, and meticulous record-keeping in a fast-paced, at-will environment. A 2-year technical degree is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years in quality inspection within aerospace/defense.
• Experience inspecting aerospace components and assemblies.
• Experience with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and materials.
• History of maintaining inspection records and quality reports.
• Able to work independently and in teams; deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of components and assemblies; interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external quality requirements.
• Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues; conduct root cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain accurate quality records and reports; support CI initiatives.
• Assist in internal and external quality audits and continuous improvement efforts.
