Job summary

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics seeks a Senior Staff level Global Supply Chain/Procurement Engineer in Fort Worth, TX, to coordinate with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering, and suppliers for aerospace product procurement and production readiness.

Responsibilities include analyzing technical data and facilitating design trade-offs, leading teams to improve producibility, quality, cost, and reliability, and interfacing with manufacturing, supplier quality, and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience with Airframe and Major Subsystem components.
• Contracts or Subcontracts experience.
• Experience influencing decisions at the executive leadership level of external organizations.
• Experience interfacing with Manufacturing & Supplier Quality, Production Control, Supply Chain and Program Leadership, Production Manufacturing & Engineering.
• Experience capturing, aggregate, analyzing, and presenting data that effectively demonstrates supplier performance, while identifying the potential risks and opportunities, to obtain a positive outcome.
• Experience interpreting technical blueprints, specifications, and drawings, utilizing DIMS, PDM, and/or EDMS.
• Experience working with supplier engagements and a familiarity with Aircraft Manufacturing Procurement Processes specifically within the Aerospace or Defense arena.
• Experience with problem solving techniques, tools and methodologies; such as root cause corrective action (RCCA).
• Project Management experience and/or PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Sourcing, Operations, Design Engineering and suppliers to enable procurement of aerospace products.
• Analyze technical data, designs, specs, manufacturing limits, supplier facilities, and parts availability.
• Facilitate trade-offs and standardization for economical procurement.
• Lead teams to solve problems in Producibility, Quality, Cost, and Reliability.
