Job summary

KIHOMAC in the United States seeks a Project Engineer/Mechanical Engineer to model complex, lofted aerospace parts in NX and SolidWorks, perform FEA, and design tooling for manufacture, repair, and assembly.

The role supports bids, participates in AS9100/ISO 9001 audits, and collaborates with Senior Program Managers. Reverse engineering is performed with Faro arm, Keyence, and Verisurf software to correct data and verify models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in the required task area.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.100 Standard Practices for Engineering Drawings.
• 3D printing of prototype parts.

Responsibilities

• Model complex, lofted aerospace parts in NX and possibly SolidWorks.
• Perform and interpret Finite Element Analyses.
• Design tooling to manufacture, repair, and assemble parts.
• Participate in bid and proposal efforts by providing technical proposal content.
• Participate in AS9100/ISO 9001 audits and provide quality engineering support as needed.
