Job summary

CesiumAstro is seeking a Senior Environmental Test Engineer to develop and implement test procedures for dynamic and thermal environmental testing of space-grade electronics and structures. You will write SOPs, improve test throughput, troubleshoot equipment, and automate processes to support rapid production transitions.

Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline required.
Minimum 5 years in hardware testing for aerospace.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Create/test hardware procedures for environmental campaigns.
Develop SOPs for environmental test technicians.
Improve environmental test processes for higher throughput.
Identify and implement improvements to ensure safety and quality.
Troubleshoot environmental test equipment and processes.
Automate test equipment to increase efficiency.
Enable production autonomy and streamline workflows.
