Job summary

The Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) at the University of Colorado Boulder seeks an Aerospace Electrical Assembler to join our production team. You will fabricate and rework PWBA and harness assemblies, reading schematics and BOMs to high-precision standards.

Qualifications

• At least 9+ years of hand electrical assembly experience.
• Ability to read schematics and engineering drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and tool handling skills.
• Proven quality-focused workmanship in space hardware.
• Certification to relevant aerospace assembly standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and rework electrical flight products per documents.
• Follow detailed schematics, BOMs, and drawings with minimal direction.
• Maintain high accuracy and workmanship to standards.
• Perform proper soldering techniques on PWBA assemblies.
• Work on custom cables and wire harnesses.
• Collaborate with engineering and production staff to improve flow.
