Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a Senior Aerosol Scientist to advance aerosol threat characterization through novel methodologies and interdisciplinary collaboration. You will lead teams, develop custom generation equipment, and interpret complex data from ground truth instrumentation and detectors.

The role requires advanced degree with five years of research experience, strong communication, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance, supporting respiratory protection and decontamination projects.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in a related science or engineering field with 5 years of research experience.
Experience with aerosol generation, collection, and measurement instrumentation.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Knowledge of bioaerosol collection, sampling, and analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead and guide teams to establish novel aerosol methodologies for threat characterization.
Operate, maintain, and develop aerosol generation equipment and environmental chambers.
Analyze complex data from aerosol instrumentation and sensors.
Prepare technical reports and presentations for scientific audiences.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on respiratory protection and decontamination.
