University of Nebraska Medical Center is seeking a Senior Scientist to lead aerobiology projects. You will design and perform controlled aerosol experiments, interpret results, and develop new technologies in collaboration with the PI.
The role includes training students and pursuing funding opportunities. Applicants should have a Master’s degree or equivalent in biology, chemistry, environmental or chemical engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience in a lab setting.
Competenze
- Master’s degree or equivalent in biology, chemistry, environmental or chemical engineering or related field
- 3 years of scientific experience in research or clinical lab setting
- Knowledge of aerobiology and aerosol instrumentation and methods
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to work independently

- Lead and conduct controlled aerobiology experiments to understand biological aerosols
- Design, perform and interpret experiments and develop novel technologies
- Collaborate with PI and other groups; train graduate students
