Job summary

Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc. (SPA) is seeking a Senior Advisor to the AUKUS Integration and Acquisition Office to provide advisory and analytic support to program leadership.

The role focuses on integrating distinct efforts and ensuring alignment across workstreams to advance submarine program objectives. The ideal candidate has 15+ years in DoD program management, expert knowledge of AUKUS, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Required Experience: Demonstrated success working with foreign partners on FMS programs.
• Expert knowledge of the AUKUS program and plan of record.
• Proven experience advising senior DoD leaders.
• Experience with nuclear powered submarine programs.
• 15+ years experience in program management within DoD.
• Active Secret clearance and the ability to maintain it throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Senior Advisor to AUKUS Integration and Acquisition Office providing advisory and analytic support to the Executive Director, DPM, and program leadership.
• Coordinate expansion of AUKUS Phase 2 efforts across the program and align workstreams across leaders.
• Advise senior leaders directly and handle special projects on their behalf.
• Provide expert counsel on the future structure of the AUKUS Phase 2 workstreams.
• Assess and advise on the readiness of Australia to meet Sovereign Ready Milestones and propose mitigation plans as needed.
