Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Adversary Operations Engineer to strengthen security by performing advanced penetration testing and adversary emulation across enterprise, cloud, and identity environments.

You will lead engagements end-to-end, develop sophisticated attack paths, and provide actionable remediation guidance while aligning with business objectives. Collaboration with detection, SOC, and incident response teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in penetration testing, red teaming, or offensive security.
• 3+ years of experience with Kali Linux, Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, or similar tools.
• 3+ years of scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• 3+ years of container security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal and external penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and execute adversary emulation scenarios to test detection and response capabilities.
• Utilize and maintain a comprehensive suite of penetration testing tools (Kali Linux, Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite).
• Create detailed reports with findings and actionable remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with blue teams to design and execute purple team exercises.
• Automate common testing tasks using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to increase efficiency.
