Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health seek an Advanced Endoscopy Gastroenterologist to join our academic gastroenterology program in Philadelphia. The role combines advanced endoscopy clinical care with education, research, and program growth in a nationally recognized health system.

Ideal candidates will have MD/DO with GI fellowship, fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy, and board certification or eligibility.

Qualifications

• MD or DO and GI fellowship required.
• Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy highly preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology required.
• Proven expertise in third-space endoscopy and complex endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced therapeutic endoscopy including Third-Space Endoscopy (POEM/G-POEM) and EMR/ESD.
• Lead clinical care for high-volume endoscopy patients.
• Educate and mentor gastroenterology fellows and residents.
• Engage in clinical research and scholarly activity.
