The Senior Advanced Design & Simulation Engineer will provide complex engineering support to application engineering and operations functions. Responsibilities include product design, design verification via computational analysis, material model generation and testing, statistical data analysis, training seminars, and customer support as a design subject‑matter expert.
Additional duties involve responding to customer inquiries, providing design expertise for new product development, tooling design and optimization, process improvement, and material development through testing and data analytics. The role also delivers technical assistance to Sales teams and mentors junior engineering staff.
Key technical capabilities: programming in Python (or equivalent), advanced material modeling, parametric analysis, and advanced design analysis such as damage propagation. The engineer adapts analytical tools to new and complex challenges.
Leadership responsibilities include training initiatives, coaching, and influencing the technical approach to modeling, testing, analysis, and the application of results throughout the organization.
Education/Certifications: B.S. in an engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred).
