Alpha School is seeking a Senior Admissions Counselor to manage the complete enrollment journey for prospective families, from initial inquiry through onboarding, ensuring alignment with the Alpha model and high standards.

You will oversee 20+ concurrent engagements, run discovery conversations, guide campus visits, and keep HubSpot and SIS current to enable forecasting and service excellence. This is a full-time on-campus role with relocation assistance to CA locations; US residency required.

That is your responsibility. You will manage the complete enrollment process for a campus, beginning with initial inquiry and continuing through onboarding. This is not a segmented, handoff-dependent position. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate meaningful dialogue, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not to maximize numbers. The objective is to ensure alignment. What You Will Be Doing

• Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, from initial contact through full onboarding.
• Facilitating discovery conversations to evaluate compatibility before proposing solutions or outlining next steps.
• Overseeing 20+ concurrent family engagements across various enrollment phases, maintaining clear tracking of status and follow-up activities.
• Guiding campus visits, student shadow days, and decision-oriented discussions that articulate outcomes, expectations, and the profile of families for whom the model is best suited.
• Keeping CRM and enrollment systems (HubSpot and SIS) current and accurate to enable forecasting, prioritization, and sustained service excellence.

• Accepting enrollments from poorly matched families to satisfy targets.
• Leading a large team or working within complex approval hierarchies.
• Distributing responsibility for the family experience across multiple roles.
• Working from a remote location. This role requires on-campus presence.

Senior Admissions Counselor Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver a high-trust, selective enrollment process that secures enrollment from aligned families while safeguarding the standards and effectiveness of the Alpha model.

Basic Requirements

• 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in settings where service excellence directly shapes brand perception (education, luxury hospitality, executive support, premium membership, or independently operated services).
• Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial inquiry through onboarding.
• Experience coordinating 20+ client, guest, or family interactions concurrently across different stages, supported by a reliable tracking and prioritization method.
• Ability to supply specific examples of consultative judgment, including situations where you advised against your product or service due to misalignment.
• Professional-level written communication with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences.
• Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of the following locations: La Jolla, CA; Los Angeles, CA; Marin County, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Piedmont, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Barbara, CA; Santa Monica, CA; or South Bay, CA.
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Experience in competitive private school admissions or selective program recruitment.
• Background in luxury hospitality, VIP client services, or executive-level administrative support.
• Experience developing or refining enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service protocols.
• Proficiency leveraging data and CRM tools to enhance conversion alignment, not merely velocity.
