The San Francisco Planning Department (CPC) is recruiting for two (2) Temporary Exempt (TEX) Senior Administrative Analyst positions for PermitSF.
This is a full-time Temporary Exempt position that is excluded by the Charter from the competitive civil service examination process and shall serve at the discretion of the Appointment Officer. The duration of the appointment shall not exceed 36 months.

PermitSF is a citywide initiative to modernize and streamline permitting processes across multiple departments through the phased launch of new permit types on the PermitSF Portal, business process redesign, and implementation of the OpenGov platform.
The Senior Administrative Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the continued rollout and adoption of new permit types and advancing the modernization of San Francisco’s permitting system. The position will work closely with City departments to analyze and redesign business processes, translate business requirements into system configurations, support data and reporting needs, coordinate testing and implementation activities, and help departments adopt new processes and technology.
The positions report to the PermitSF Program Manager and will work closely with the PermitSF Modernization Project Manager, Director of PermitSF, and PermitSF Chief of Staff.
