This position provides leadership and oversight for accounting, financial reporting, compliance, internal controls, and business operations within RHS. This role serves as a key financial liaison ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, university policy, and regulatory requirements.

This position will be fully onsite for the first six months, followed by the option to switch to a hybrid schedule of 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. This is not a fully remote position.
All positions in RHS Are designated as criticalstatus. In the event of a university closure, modification, or suspension of operations due to snow or other emergency conditions, you will be expected to make all reasonable attempts to report to work as scheduled for the duration of the closure/suspension. Knowledge equivalent to that which normally would be acquired by completing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; 5-8 years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in accounting; advanced knowledge of GAAP, GASB standards, FASB standards, financial reporting, internal controls, risk management, financial analysis, and staff supervision; or in performing responsibilities related to the operational activities of the employing unit; experience in a supervisory role; experience with word processing, database, spreadsheet, presentation software and/or desktop publishing, web page software; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CPA, Masters degree, higher education accounting experience, and advanced financial reporting expertise.
