Job summary

CBC is seeking an experienced ADHD/Autism Clinical Psychologist in New York with at least five years of clinical practice and strong CBT and DBT competencies. The role emphasizes evidence-based treatment and collaboration with a skilled team.

You'll provide individual and group therapy, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress while leveraging CBC's support for client acquisition, billing, and administration to focus on clinical care.

Qualifications

• Ph.D./Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology required.
• Current New York State psychologist licensure or eligibility.
• Minimum of five years of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated CBT and DBT competency.
• Experience assessing ADHD and Autism spectrum disorders.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, family, and parent therapy tailored to client needs.
• Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for ADHD and autism.

What you'll do

• Provide individual, group, family, and parent therapy tailored to client needs.

• Conduct psychological assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for ADHD, autism, and related concerns.

• Use CBT and DBT as core components of your clinical practice.

• Monitor treatment progress and collaborate with families, schools, and other professionals when appropriate.

• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation.

• Participate in clinical consultation, team meetings, and professional development.

• Depending on experience and responsibilities, supervise trainees or contribute to training and consultation.

What we're looking for

Required qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology or a related qualifying psychology discipline.

• Current New York State psychologist licensure or eligibility for licensure.

• At least five years of clinical experience.

• Demonstrated clinical competency and experience applying both CBT and DBT in practice.

• Competency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and related concerns.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical judgment skills.

• Commitment to ethical, evidence-based care and continued professional growth.

Additional experience in ACT, PCIT, psychological assessment, supervision, or professional training is a plus.

Schedule and benefits

• Clinical expectations: 24 professional service units per week over 47 weeks annually.

• Flexibility: Hybrid opportunities based on clinical and organizational needs.

• Paid time off: 160 hours of annual vacation for licensed psychologists, 16 hours of personal time, paid holidays, and 40 hours of paid sick and safe leave.

• Professional development: Three days (24 hours) annually for continuing education or conferences, plus access to professional development funding.
