Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing is seeking a Senior ADAS Test Engineer to coordinate and execute a wide range of testing and development tasks for ADAS software. You will collaborate with global teams to ensure seamless integration of advanced driver-assistance technologies.

The role involves hands-on development, project coordination, and verification across vehicle systems, with travel to suppliers and proving grounds as needed. Onsite with potential one remote day weekly.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Automotive or Controls Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive domain.
Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, steering control, CAN structures, and tuning vehicle controls.
Experience with data acquisition systems and Vector CAN tools is a plus.
Strong presentation and communication skills; travel may be required.

Responsibilities

Develop ADAS control software functions and tune vehicle control systems.
Define CAN interfaces, self-diagnostics, and failsafe detection requirements with suppliers.
Lead testing, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and determine root causes.
Manage development projects, coordinate with departments and vendors, and document results.
