Job summary

HCA HealthONE Aurora is seeking a qualified Acute Adult Mental Health Nurse Manager to lead our Behavioral Health Services. Under the Director of Nursing, you will oversee clinical services, budgeting, quality initiatives and community outreach to enhance patient care.

You will collaborate with physicians, staff and families to ensure high standards of behavioral health, educate the team, manage staffing and operations, and uphold regulatory compliance across the program.

Qualifications

• Behavioral health nursing experience is required.
• 1–3 years of leadership in a Behavioral Health acute care setting preferred.
• Current RN license (state-specific) required; BLS and NCI certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical supervisory duties over behavioral health nursing staff.
• Assist with budgeting, quality management, and program development.
• Coordinate staff education and annual competencies.
• Ensure compliance with licensure, accrediting and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients and families to promote satisfaction.
• Maintain daily operations, staffing, scheduling and productivity.
