Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics or related field.
  • 5+ years designing electromagnetic systems, robotic actuators, or precision hardware.
  • Experience developing actuators for high-performance dynamic systems.
  • Proficiency with CAD and PLM tools such as NX and Teamcenter.

Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, design, integration of custom robotic actuators and electromagnetic components.
  • Define actuator requirements and system-level trade studies for torque, bandwidth, thermal, and cost.
  • Design precision electromechanical assemblies with tight tolerances and robust integration.
  • Drive actuator integration with controls, firmware, and software teams for optimal performance.
  • Develop prototypes, test methodologies, and validation infrastructure for performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to transition designs to production-ready assemblies.
