Job summary

PartnerRe seeks a Senior Structuring and Pricing Actuary to model and price NA FINSOL transactions, collaborating with the FINSOL team and business development on opportunities. The role will interact with L&H risk officers and other team members to obtain approvals.

Key tasks include building pricing models, organizing data, and contributing to deal execution and internal memoranda, with presenting topics to stakeholders as required.

Qualifications

• Strong actuarial background in US life insurance/reinsurance pricing and valuation.
• Experience building financial models for reinsurance transactions.
• Knowledge of US GAAP reporting is advantageous.
• Experience with financial solution transactions is advantageous.
• Actuarial modeling experience (AXIS) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Model and price financial reinsurance solutions considering accounting, regulatory and economic risks.
• Build pricing models to assess risk and profitability of life reinsurance solutions.
• Organize, evaluate and analyze data required for transactions.
• Interact with L&H risk officers and other teams to obtain approvals.
• Contribute to deal execution, including responding to RFPs and drafting memos.
• Prepare and present internal and external presentations on life reinsurance topics.
