Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Actuary to join their Life Profitability Management Team in Charlotte, NC. This role includes managing and analyzing in-force life insurance block performance and collaborating with various teams to drive profitability.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field, an FSA designation, and experience with actuarial modeling software. The position offers competitive salary ranges specific to location and comprehensive relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
• FSA designation required.
• Experience working with actuarial modeling software (Prophet preferred).
• Experience working with large data sets and data visualization software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct annual plan projections and quarterly re-forecasting for life portfolio.
• Analyze drivers of plan vs. actual results and provide insights.
• Monitor and interpret in-force performance metrics.
• Review and coach junior staff members.
