Job summary

Blue Cross NC seeks a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the Medical Economics Enablement team. You will apply actuarial expertise and advanced analytics to transform healthcare data into insights that improve affordability, support strategic decisions, and drive business performance.

You will develop scalable analytic solutions, identify cost drivers, support pricing, and deliver data‑driven recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years of actuarial experience. Related experience may be considered.
• 5+ ASA exams toward ASA designation or ASA eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develops reporting structure and analytic strategy to support market teams and pricing for programs.
• Supports the rating process by developing actuarial model enhancements.
• Distributes reports and investigates trends and anomalies.
• Develops BI content (reports, dashboards, scorecards) across the development lifecycle to provide data for decision making.
