Job summary

Thornapple Manor is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator to plan, implement, and evaluate recreational and social programs for residents, aligned with care plans. You will observe resident involvement and collaborate with staff, families, and community partners to enhance well-being.

Responsibilities include coordinating transportation, organizing events, and maintaining activity records, while guiding a team and ensuring a warm, engaging activity environment for residents.

Qualifications

• A CNA certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English is required.
• Must be able to supervise and work with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and involvement; document progress.
• Coordinate with other departments and community partners for activities.
• Arrange transportation for field trips and residents as needed.
• Maintain attendance records and chart progress quarterly.
• Lead and supervise small activity groups and prepare activity rooms.
