You will lead a team, partner with departments and external resources to create diverse activities tailored to seniors, building meaningful experiences.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting; completion of Activities Director training or degree in recreational therapy.
• State-approved CNA training and competency evaluation program or CNA competency evaluation program.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement engaging recreational programs that enhance residents’ quality of life.
• Lead a team of Activity Assistants and coordinate with departments and external organizations.
• Monitor schedules, organize activities for residents with varying abilities.
