Monarch Communities is seeking a friendly Activities Assistant in Bridgewater, NJ to plan and lead recreational activities for residents and program participants. You will maintain the activities area and van, ensuring safety and organization while collaborating with teammates to foster a supportive environment.

The role requires basic first aid/ CPR, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage schedules, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic first aid and CPR certification is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities required.
• Physical fitness is needed to assist with activities and mobility.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead engaging recreational activities for residents.
• Maintain a clean and organized activities area and vehicle.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during activities.
• Collaborate with team to create a positive, supportive environment.
• Keep accurate records of activities attendance.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas.
