Huntingdon Park Nursing Home is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Aide to join our team full-time. You will plan and lead recreational activities for residents and help create engaging daily experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role offers a supportive environment, opportunities to make a meaningful impact in residents'

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare/long-term care experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for residents.
• Encourage participation and engagement in programs and events.
• Support group activities, crafts, music, and special events.
• Decorate and prepare for holidays and facility events.
• Escort and support residents during activities.
• Maintain activity supplies and keep areas organized.
• Document resident participation when required.
• Promote a positive, resident-centered environment.
