Job summary

Berkley Technology Services seeks a Senior Systems Engineer (Active Directory) to design, implement, and manage enterprise AD/Entra hybrid infrastructure. This role emphasizes AD architecture, security hardening, and automation, not routine administration.

The ideal candidate will lead AD/Entra integration efforts, support IAM solutions like Okta/Auth0, and drive best-practice governance and incident response within Berkley’s Platform Identity Management team.

Qualifications

Active Directory Architecture: extensive hands-on design, deployment and management in large multi-forest environments.
NDM for policy-based delegated AD administration.
Windows Server knowledge across enterprise environments.
Security hardening, PAM/RBAC, auditing in AD.
IAM integration with Okta/Auth0, Entra ID, MFA.
Strong documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Serve as enterprise SME for AD architecture aligning with security requirements.
Develop and maintain AD, forests, domains, OUs, and GPOs; troubleshoot replication and DNS.
Automate administrative tasks across AD and Entra; monitor health and alerts.
Ensure security best practices for authentication/authorization/auditing.
Create architecture docs, SOPs, and configuration standards.
Lead projects with PM, Account Management and Customer teams; mentor staff.
