Job summary

Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI) seeks a Senior Acquisition Program Manager to support AFRL/RA in accelerating air warfare capabilities. You will guide acquisition programs, optimize cost, schedule, and performance, and advise Directorate leadership on program management matters.

Required are 10+ years of DoW experience, 3+ years in SAP/SCI environments, and a Master’s degree. Active Top Secret clearance and strong collaboration with government PMs are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of DoW program management experience.
• At least 3 years in SAP and/or SCI environments, preferably within the last 5 years.
• MA/MS/ME degree required; waiver possible with customer approval and/or additional relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Support AFRL/RA in all phases of project management: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing projects.
• Develop acquisition documentation to assist government PMs in making informed programmatic decisions.
• Identify risks and issues, recommend solutions, and provide guidance to government PMs.
• Leverage DoW acquisition processes and analytical methods to gather, analyze, and evaluate information for program managers and stakeholders.
• Apply expertise in integration, communication, coordination, organization, and planning across diverse disciplines to deliver and sustain Air Force warfighting capabilities.
• Analyze issues and develop solutions to improve S&T and acquisition effectiveness and compliance.
• Draft and review acquisition documentation for S&T programs with accuracy and quality control.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate, and conduct facilitation activities with host organizations and participants.
• Provide training, facilitation, and decision-support services for group trainings and collaborative efforts.
• Lead strategic planning events and manage discussions toward actionable plans, including handling controversial topics.
