Responsibilities

  • Provide recommendations on life cycle support migration strategies.
  • Provide technical reviews.
  • Maintain yearly reporting schedule for acquisition-related reports (DAMIR, RDAIS, MAIS).
  • Create and update acquisition and milestone decision documentation.
  • Facilitate routing and approval processes including GATE Review briefs and CSB reviews.
  • Implement and maintain a Risk Management Program.
  • Develop acquisition documents (ICD, CDD, ACP, ACB, PM Plan, ADM, etc.).
  • Prepare deliverables like reports, briefings, and visuals.

Overview

Job Title: Senior Acquisition Management AnalystLocation: San Diego, CA


Rivet Operations Company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Acquisition Management Analyst for our team in San Diego, CA. The Senior Acquisition Management Analyst shall develop, maintain, modify and update project plans and guidance documents, including strategic plans and roadmaps that address organizational approaches, and retention of maximum mission capabilities with reduced resources as well as maintaining the risk management program. Plans shall be developed in accordance with format requirements in the Acquisition Support Office Program Manager’s Handbook.


Key Responsibilities


  • Provide recommendations on life cycle support migration strategies

  • Provide technical reviews

  • Maintain yearly reporting schedule for all acquisition-related reports (DAMIR, RDAIS, MAIS reports)

  • Create, maintain, and update acquisition and milestone decision documentation

  • Facilitate routing and approval processes including GATE Review briefs and Configuration Steering Board reviews

  • Maintain yearly reporting schedule for all acquisition-related reports (DAMIR, RDAIS, MAIS reports)

  • Implement and maintain a Risk Management Program

  • Support Risk Review Boards and maintain Risk Watch List

  • Schedule and conduct Risk Management training

  • Developing acquisition documents such as the Initial Capabilities Document, Capability Development Document, Capability Production Document, Acquisition Strategy, Acquisition Program Baseline, Program Management Plan, Acquisition Decision Memorandum, Affordability Estimate, Analysis of Alternatives, Cost Analysis and Requirements Description, and Integrated Master Schedule.

  • Prepare deliverables such as reports, briefings, and product visuals for assigned projects and programs.

  • Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that cost, performance, and schedule objectives are met.

  • Analyze project and program-related problems and propose innovative solutions to address them.

  • Develop project and program plans that support cost, schedule, and performance.


Requirements

Required Qualifications



  • Bachelor\'s Level degree required.

  • 7+ years professional experience in acquisition management support.

  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and procedures for National Security Systems and Defense Business Systems.

  • Specialized acquisition support experience with a Navy acquisition program or related/comparable acquisition support experience with Department of Defense (DoD) agencies.


Desired Skills:



  • DAWIA Level III Certification in Program Management or equivalent (e.g., PMP).

  • Excellent oral and written skills.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Ability to learn and apply project management concepts to assigned duties.

Physical Requirements:Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distance may be required. Possible lifting up to 25 lbs.
