Job summary

Serco is recruiting an Acquisition & PM Professional III – Cost to deliver senior‑level cost estimation, life‑cycle cost analyses, and acquisition support for DoD, IC, and Federal Civilian programs.

The role emphasizes independent advisory services, strategic recommendations, and executive briefings, with opportunities to lead complex programs and mentor teams. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• US citizenship required.
• Master's Degree in Technology Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations Research, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15+ years of experience supporting federal acquisition, cost estimating, financial analysis, program management, or related disciplines.
• Extensive experience developing and defending life‑cycle cost estimates and acquisition‑related studies.
• Experience with software-intensive systems, cloud environments, cybersecurity, or AI/ML initiatives.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level technical leadership and independent advisory services supporting large and complex federal programs.
• Develop, evaluate, and review Life‑Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), affordability assessments, and cost‑benefit studies.
• Support acquisition planning, acquisition strategy development, source selections, budgeting activities, and investment decision making.
• Perform advanced cost estimating and economic analyses for software‑intensive systems, cloud environments, enterprise IT programs, AI/ML initiatives, cybersecurity programs, and mission‑support systems.
• Create executive‑level presentations, technical reports, acquisition documentation, and strategic recommendations for senior government leadership.
• Interface directly with government customers, prime contractors, and senior executives to support technical reviews and decision forums.
• Mentor junior staff and provide technical oversight across multidisciplinary project teams.
